This is a quaint old hotel right off the Blue Ridge Parkway which makes it convenient if you're travels are outside of the busier local areas. Astonishing views with pool hot tubs and fire pit. The lobby area is very charming and has an nostalgic throw back feel. My only complaint is that the restaurant on the estate is not very good.
Great refurbishment in property and food quality. Hard to beat this place with the views and overall experience. But who are those two guys and a dog who come over to "visit" the guests at the evening meal? Maybe just a bit of local color....
We just love it here. Been here several times and hope to return again soon.
