Good prices and extremely friendly staff! And they deliver!
Unfortunately, I've had difficulties in dealing with different groups of management in the Spruce Pine store now. We all go through moments where we need improvement and have to compromise or do the right thing even when it hurts. However, from a professional point of view, we have to manage our business properly. If a customer makes a $300 decision and reneges on the deal you'd best believe that Sears would want their money and the consumer/ customer would end up in small claims court. If the business (Sears), makes that wrongful decision they like to sweep it underneath the rug. I was in on the last day of Black Friday and told that I could order an LG DLEX3370W dryer at the sale price, only to have them renege on the deal upon my going back to purchase. A difference in price of $300. I was told that it would go back on sale in a few weeks and to come back then. On a follow up phone call, I was told that he wouldn't honor the deal because he couldn't get the dryer. I'll never trust the small town business again. I'll drive to Lowes and start buying Kobalt (who also has a lifetime warranty on their tools, and buy my appliances there or somewhere besides Sears as well. One review for a household name and no balance of good and bad (bad meaning areas where they can improve), should tell you something. You have to give at least one star, you can't review without at least, one star... and the commerce department wonders why we have no business in Spruce Pine. Sad times.
